Zbigniew Pawłucki is responsible for CAPEX investments projects, quality of production, health and process safety management, environmental, waste and water management, security & control, maintenance, energy, research and development, procurement, retail management, marketing, sales management, decarbonization & innovations, corporate social responsibility and ORLEN Unipetrol Foundation.
Zbigniew Pawłucki is a manager with 30 years of experience in purchasing, investment and production management and corporate restructuring. Member of Boards of Directors and Supervisory Boards of companies in the automotive and refining and petrochemical sectors. Graduate of the Technical University of Cologne (Germany), Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering, and the Academy of Strategic Leadership, Harvard Business Review.
He has been working in the automotive and industrial production sectors since 1993. He began his career at Ford Motor Company. From 1995 to 2004, he was associated with HP-chemie Pelzer GmbH, where he was responsible for procurement, establishment and development of the production plant and, as a Board Member, for restructuring processes in the Pelzer Group.
In 2007, as Vice Chairman of the Management Board of Automotive Components Europe Group SA, he floated the company on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (IPO). Since 2009, as Executive Director for CAPEX Investments at PKN ORLEN S.A., he was responsible for CAPEX investments and restructuring of Group companies. Since 2018, as Vice President of the Management Board of Izoblok S.A., he was responsible for integrations, development, sales and purchases in the Group. Most recently, he worked on the organization of energy storage facilities that stabilize power grids.
