Next to the well-known logo of the Benzina horse, Benzina stations will be displaying an eagle standing for the international ORLEN Group which also includes Benzina. Introduction of the joint logotypes will be supported by an advertising campaign.
“Benzina is part of a large international network of almost 3,000 filling stations in five countries with a financial background and business experience shared within the international ORLEN Group. Now we want to emphasise both for the Czech public and international customers travelling across the Czech Republic the benefits of this joint business model, the accent on quality and a combination of the traditional and the modern. We hope that this step will help us attract new customers,” says Tomasz Wiatrak, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Unipetrol Group, which runs 419 service stations in the Czech Republic and Slovakia under the Benzina brand. “The next step will be the introduction of international payment services,” added Tomasz Wiatrak.
For example, a combination of the distinctive Benzina and ORLEN logos will appear on totem price displays, pumps and on the screens inside the filling stations. The associated marketing campaign will be launched on October 28 and it will include television spots, online advertising and promotion in the social media and on billboards.
The international ORLEN Group runs more than 2,800 service stations in five countries – Poland (1784) and Lithuania (25) under the ORLEN brand, in Germany under the Star brand (584) and in the Czech Republic (413) and Slovakia (6) under the Benzina brand. The strongest attributes of the ORLEN brand image include modernity, trust, favourability, a wide offering and top quality of products and services. ORLEN had been a majority shareholder of the Unipetrol Group since 2005 and it became its sole owner in 2018.
