The refining and petrochemical group ORLEN Unipetrol has been named among the three best employers in Czechia. It ranked first in the regional round of the 22nd year of the Pluxee Employer of the Year survey in the Ústí Region. The Group placed third on the national level. The Pluxee Employer of the Year award is part of the Employers’ Club Annual Awards 2024. The independent evaluation is based on the international methodology of PricewaterhouseCoopers Czech Republic, an expert guarantor of the competition.
The ORLEN Unipetrol Group has long held the position of the best employer in the Ústí Region. It has been one of the best employers in the region for five years in a row. Besides its regional recognition, the Group has been among the Top 10 employers nationwide for the past five years.

The independent evaluation of the Employer of the Year is based on the international methodology of PricewaterhouseCoopers Czech Republic, an expert guarantor of the competition preparing the supporting documentation. The prestigious recognition then goes to the employers that significantly surpass the standard situation in the Czech labour market in most key indicators. Specifically, the assessed domains include values related to remuneration, learning and education, internal advancement, or career development opportunities. Last but not least, the methodology also evaluates indicators associated with a company’s economic success. The competition, held since 2003, aims to present businesses with an outstanding approach to their employees publicly.
