The Top Employer award is presented by the international organisation, Top Employers Institute. It is the result of a detailed audit covering six areas and 20 themes, including HR, strategy, talent acquisition and development, learning, diversity, equal opportunities, and employee wellbeing. The certification is granted annually only to companies that meet the highest standards in employee care. The Top Employers Institute has been awarding these certifications for more than 30 years and is recognised as a global authority in verifying excellent HR practices. The certification process is based on rigorous analysis and comparison of companies that employ global HR management standards. The Top Employer award then goes only to companies that meet strict criteria and demonstrate long-term quality in employee care.

Last year was a success for the ORLEN Unipetrol Group, also in employer evaluations. The Group attested to its long-term position as one of the most attractive employers in the Ústí Region and throughout Czechia. It was also among the most sought-after companies in student surveys. “We regularly follow modern trends in employee benefits, so we can offer both what is today a matter of course and innovative and unique benefits. These results were also supported by the Group’s high scores in HR competitions. In 2025, ORLEN Unipetrol defended the international Top Employer 2025 certification and placed second in the national student evaluation, TOP Employers 2025, in the Energy, Gas and Petrochemistry category. It also defended the regional recognition as the Pluxee Employer of the Year. These rankings further reinforced the Group’s position as a stable and respected employer investing in the quality of the working environment and empowering its people over the long term.
