Innovative methods for wastewater treatment
The aim of the challenge is to test and select innovative, energy-efficient solutions for the removal of undesirable substances from wastewater from production plants. One of the many needs to be addressed is the technology for removing chlorides and sulphates from the treated wastewater stream at the Wet Flue Gas Desulphurisation Plant in order to, among other things, counteract the growth of golden algae.
